I have a fidgeting/stress/worrying/anxiety issue. I have for as long as i could remember - always worrying about yesterday, scared for tomorrow, unable to sit still. I used to play play with fidget toys or, when it got really bad, I would leave class.

It wasn't until college where the normal coping skills no longer worked. With the constant stress and the little time to move, by habits evolved. I had to learn to deal with my racing mind and my high amounts of energy. It wasn't until college that my nail biting habit took off.

I tried many techniques - hot sauce on the nails, new fidget toys, exercising everyday - yet none worked. Until one day I did what everyone before suggested, i took the girly route and painted my nails. Now instead of biting, I pick the nail polish. Quick, easy, fun.
